Otkritie Bank supervisory board appoints Mikhail Alexeyev as CEO
MOSCOW, Jan 9 (PRIME) -- The supervisory board of Otkritie Financial Corporation (FC) Bank has appointed Mikhail Alexeyev as a CEO from January 1 to replace Mikhail Zadornov, the bank said in a statement on Monday.
“The supervisory board has decided to appoint Mikhail Yuryevich Alexeyev as a CEO. The nominee, supported by the central bank, assumed the office on January 1, 2023,” the statement read.
Alexeyev is a former CEO of UniCredit Bank and former Deputy Chairman of the central bank.
In December, the central bank sold Otkritie FC Bank to Russia’s second-largest lender VTB Bank.
